The Mercedes-Maybach S 580e 4Matic is priced at Rs 3.35 crore, ex-showroom, before options. The S 580e trim targets buyers who want the highest level of luxury in their S-Class sedan. The S 580e gets a plug-in hybrid setup, including a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six petrol engine, an electric motor and a 22kWh battery. The battery supports DC fast charging up to 60kW and AC charging of up to 11kW.

Total output is 585hp and 750Nm, and the electric-only range is a WLTP-rated 98km, claimed by Mercedes. The carmaker claims a fuel efficiency of 34.48kpl (WLTP-certified) for the S 580e PHEV.
