Maruti Suzuki Victoris price & variants

The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Victoris is available in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The ZXi and ZXi+ are offered with optional (O) variants as well. All these trims are available with the petrol-MT powertrain. Except for the LXi, all the variants are also available with petrol-AT. The top-spec ZXi+ petrol AT gets an AWD option.

The Victoris’ CNG option is offered in all trims, except the top-spec ZXi+, with a manual transmission. All trims except the LXi are offered with the strong hybrid engine.

LXi: The Victoris’ base-spec LXi is one of the most feature-rich base variants in its segment. It offers 6 airbags, halogen projector headlights, a 7-inch infotainment with wireless phone connectivity, 2 speakers, auto AC with rear vents and a rear defogger.

VXi: The VXi adds a reverse parking camera, TPMS, 2 tweeters (for a total of 4 speakers), and cruise control. The strong hybrid VXi variant also gets a 10.25-inchdriver’s display and paddle shifters.

ZXi: The ZXi variant offers all-LED lighting, alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer, powered tailgate, and auto-dimming IRVM. All ZXi variants, irrespective of the powertrain option, get a 10.25-inch driver’s display. The ZXi (O) adds a panoramic sunroof to the mix.

ZXi+: The top-spec ZXi+ adds a 10.1-inch infotainment system, Level-2 ADAS, a HUD, 4 additional speakers (for a total of 8 speakers), and front seat ventilation. Like the ZXi (O), the ZXi+ (O) adds a panoramic sunroof to the feature mix.

Exterior Design And Engineering

8.0

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris makes an impactful first impression with its sharp design. Borrowing cues from the upcoming e-Vitara and the Brezza, it features segmented LED DRLs, a chiseled bumper, and squared-off wheel arches with plastic cladding, giving it a muscular stance. The dual-tone 17-inch alloys and a blacked-out roof further enhance its appeal. The raked rear windscreen adds a coupe-like vibe, though the rear design, with its LED lightbar and flat tailgate, is less cohesive. Based on the Suzuki Tect platform (shared with the Grand Vitara), the Victoris measures 4360mm in length, 1795mm in width, and 1655mm in height, making it nearly identical in dimensions to its sibling.

Interior Space And Comfort

8.0

Inside, the Victoris stands out with a fresh dashboard design and a choice of two upholstery options. The petrol and CNG versions feature ivory and black upholstery with silver accents, while the strong hybrid offers all-black with rose gold highlights. The cabin quality feels superior, with soft-touch materials and ambient lighting. The front seats are comfortable, offering good support, but rear-seat space is a tight squeeze for taller passengers or three adults. However, the high seating position and panoramic sunroof improve the sense of space. Practicality is good, with generous door bins, wireless charging, and a spacious glovebox. The boot capacity varies depending on the version, with the strong hybrid featuring a raised floor due to its battery pack. A spare tyre is not included, though buyers can opt for one at purchase.

Features And Safety

9.0

The Victoris packs in a host of features, including a new 10.1-inch Smartplay Pro X touchscreen, a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and Level 2 ADAS features. The ZXI+ variant comes with ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and connected car tech. For safety, the SUV is equipped with six airbags, traction control, brake assist, hill hold control, ISOFIX anchors, and more. The higher trims also feature a tyre pressure monitoring system, and the Victoris boasts a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP. The Level 2 ADAS (petrol AT only), which includes lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control, works well in Indian conditions.

Performance And Refinement

7.0

The Victoris offers a range of powertrain options: a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol, a 1.5-litre CNG, and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid. The 1.5 petrol engine produces 103hp and 139Nm, which is adequate for city driving but lacks punch for quick overtakes. The AWD version, with its 6-speed automatic and AllGrip system, delivers strong off-road capability, with modes for different conditions. The standout powertrain is the strong hybrid, with a combined output of 116hp, offering smooth, seamless driving in EV mode and a refined driving experience in hybrid mode. Despite excellent refinement, tyre and road noise are noticeable at higher speeds.

Mileage / Range And Efficiency

9.0

The Victoris offers impressive fuel efficiency, particularly with the strong hybrid, which delivers a claimed 28.65 kpl (ARAI). The AWD version is also efficient, returning 19.07 kpl. This makes the Victoris more fuel-efficient than the Grand Vitara, thanks to improved aerodynamics and low rolling resistance tyres.

Ride Comfort And Handling

8.0

The Victoris strikes a good balance between ride comfort and handling. The ride is slightly firm, especially on the strong hybrid, but it handles rough roads and higher speeds with composure. The suspension operates quietly, and the steering is light and direct, offering good agility in corners. Overall, the SUV delivers a pleasant driving experience with minimal body roll and good road manners.

Value For Money

8.0

Priced competitively between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Victoris offers great value for money. While it may not have the punchy diesel or turbo-petrol engines of some rivals, its efficient powertrains, feature-packed interior, and strong safety credentials make it a compelling choice. Its ride and handling, along with Maruti's widespread service network, further enhance its appeal. The Victoris may not be flashy, but it’s a solid family-oriented SUV that competes strongly with the Hyundai Creta.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris FAQs

Maruti Suzuki Victoris delivers a composed and comfortable ride on highways. Even on uneven concrete surfaces, vertical movement is well controlled and stability remains strong at speed. Over long distances, including extended highway trips, it maintains comfort and reduces fatigue for occupants.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris does not get a standard spare wheel, instead offering a puncture repair kit. While a spare can be added as an accessory, the omission is a practical concern for long-distance highway users, where tyre-related issues can be harder to manage. Click here to know how to use a puncture repair kit.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris' strong hybrid does compromise boot space. The battery pack raises the load floor, reducing overall luggage capacity. This makes it less suitable for frequent long trips with heavy luggage compared to the petrol or CNG versions.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris' AWD is a functional system rather than a cosmetic add-on. It offers multiple drive modes including Snow, Sport, Auto, and a Lock mode with up to a 50:50 torque split. It improves traction in poor weather and light off-road conditions.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris rear seat is best suited for two adults. Three-abreast seating feels tight due to limited width and headroom. It is acceptable for short trips but not ideal for frequent full-family journeys with three rear passengers.

I have a budget of Rs. 16 lakh and I am getting Victoris ZXI AT and Creta S (O) iVT automatic in petrol. My monthly running is around 1000 km. Please suggest as this will be my first car.

Verified
•1w

Go for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris ZXI automatic. It is a well-rounded SUV with a reliable naturally aspirated petrol engine, a smooth automatic gearbox and Maruti's extensive service network, which makes ownership stress free. The Creta S Optional IVT is a good car, but at this price point you are getting a lower variant with fewer features, whereas the Victoris ZXI is a higher trim with a better overall value proposition. The Victoris also offers a comfortable ride, good fuel efficiency and a hassle-free ownership experience, which is exactly what you want from your first car.

I took my Victoris for its first service expecting to leave the car there most of the day. Was done much quicker than expected and there wasn't really anything extra.

•2w

Currently driving a XUV700 but thinking of moving to something like Victoris for easier city driving. Anyone else gone from a large SUV to a smaller one, how did it feel?

•2w

I want to buy a new petrol car from Maruti Suzuki and am considering the Vitara, Victoris, or any other suitable option from the brand. Which car would be the best choice for me? I currently own a 2011 Maruti Suzuki Swift. My daily running is around 15km, and I am a PSU employee who will be retiring in January. I would appreciate your feedback.

Verified

With your daily running of around 15km and retirement approaching, the focus should be on a comfortable, reliable and easy-to-own car so your shortlist makes sense. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris petrol is a good option, unless rear seat headroom and space are very important, in which case the Grand Vitara would be better.Mechanically, both the Vitara and Victoris are similar underneath, but the Victoris gets a slightly more premium interior and a better feature set at a similar price. Since your running isn't very high, you do not need to go for the hybrid; the regular naturally aspirated petrol engine would do fine, and it's smooth, refined and well-suited to your usage. If you want something smaller and easier to drive in the city, the Brezza is also worth considering, but the Victoris offers a more premium experience and better long-distance comfort.

I need help choosing between the Victoris LXI MT and Brezza ZXI MT (1.5-litre petrol). I would appreciate some suggestions. We had decided to get the Brezza ZXI MT with the 1.5-litre petrol engine. The dealer quoted an on-road price of Rs. 13,32,491. When we asked for a discount, they offered us the Victoris LXI MT instead. The price quoted for the Victoris after the discount is Rs. 13,00,000 on-road, along with a free Rs. 6,000 reverse parking camera and Rs. 40,000 worth of diamond-cut alloy wheels. Now I am a bit confused about which one to get. The car is for my dad, who drives around 50 km daily. We currently have a 2014 Hyundai Grand i10.

Verified
•3w

The Victoris and Brezza are based on the same platform and share several bits, including their 1.5 petrol powertrain. The Brezza is sub-4-meters in length, whereas the Victoris is a bit longer. The Victoris has a more appealing two-tone interior, and even in LXI guise, it covers the basics well. If you're getting the Victoris at a lower price than the Brezza, it is certainly something that you must seriously consider.Alternatively, you could consider the Brezza turbo version, which is more affordable than the 1.5 version, with more performance while the controls are still light and easy. The ZXI turbo will increase the price gap with the Victoris and is better value. However, if the turbo isn't something that you want, then the Victoris is the one to go for.
