Mahindra XUV 7XO FAQs

Over the XUV 700, the 7XO gets a triple-screen setup, a 6-way powered co-driver's seat with boss mode, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and ventilated second-row seats.

The XUV 7XO gets a new grille, dual-barrel LED headlights, new LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and gloss black cladding on wheel arches and the lower edge of the SUV.

Considering a 10 percent down payment and 7-year loan tenure, the Mahindra XUV 7XO EMI starts at Rs 23,007 in Delhi.

If you have a budget of around Rs 20 lakh, the AX7 trim represents good value by packing in plenty of features, both for the front- and rear-seat occupants, and offering all available powertrain options. On the other hand, if you are chauffeur-driven regularly and like individual captain seats instead of the regular bench-type, upgrading to the top-end AX7L will leave little room for complaints. Not only does this top trim offer seat ventilation and sunblinds, but it also gets a dedicated charging pad for the middle-row occupants.

As it stands, the third row is cramped for adults. It is best reserved for short journeys or stowed away entirely to reveal a cavernous luggage area.

The seating for the outer two passengers and the optional captain's chairs are ventilated. The seats are well-cushioned, with decent thigh support and adjustable headrests for the outer two passengers and a fixed headrest for the centre. An armrest also features, and the seatback reclines, but it doesn’t slide. Even the front passenger seat can be adjusted using the powered boss mode function.

DaVinci dampers, in principle, do the same job as the Frequency Selective Dampers (FSDs) – providing different damping forces at low and high frequencies – but here there is a greater bandwidth with more precise tuning of the primary and secondary ride. The dampers do a great job of keeping the body flat and composed through long, wavy undulations typically found on our highways.

Features such as ventilated second-row seats, rear sunblinds, 6-way electrically operated co-driver’s seat with powered Boss mode and rear wireless charging pad are exclusive to the Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 top trim.

The XUV 7XO AX7T and AX7 L features a Level 2 ADAS suite.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO gets alloy wheels from AX5 trim onwards.

In our city tests, the petrol-automatic returned 7.6kpl, improving to 9.8kpl on the highway. With a 60-litre tank, its average of 8.7kpl translates to a usable real-world range of around 520km.

The 7XO diesel AT returned 11.28kpl in the city and 14.91kpl on the highway. This translates to an average of 13.1kpl. The diesel stands out over its petrol counterpart by offering drive modes as well.
