Trending Questions on Nissan Cars - Answered by Autocar Experts
My budget is ā¹8 lakh and my family has five members. I am looking for the best family car within this budget, with rear-seat comfort being the top priority. Please suggest suitable options.
Given your requirements, the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger are worth a look. There's plenty of space for rear seat passengers, and there is enough room for three passengers to sit in the back in reasonable comfort.
You could also consider the superbly packaged Renault Triber. It's three rows of seats give lots of flexibility in seating, and the option to slide the middle row also means you can open up lots of legroom by moving the seat to its rearward position.
I need to change my car and am looking for an automatic petrol model. My monthly running is about 200-300 km in Bangalore city, and my budget is ā¹10-12 lakh. Please suggest suitable options.
There are a plethora of automatic petrol cars available within your budget. Given your monthly travel is just 200-300km, we will give less weightage to fuel economy and more weightage to driving comfort. As we don't know other preferences, here's a shortlist of the best options by body style -
Hatchback - Hyundai i20 IVT Asta (O), Citroen C3 X Shine AT
Compact sedan - Honda Amaze CVT ZX
Compact SUV - Nissan Magnite Turbo CVT, Renault Kiger Turbo CVT Emotion
I want to upgrade to a seven-seater, but I am confused between a new Triber or Ertiga, and a used XL6. My usage is mostly in the city with occasional highway trips. My priorities are low maintenance and good mileage. Please suggest. Also, I would like to know what good automatic car options are available under Rs 8 to 9 lakh. Thank you.
Which is the best car under 7.5 lakh? Nissan Magnite, Tata Altroz, or Maruti Baleno? Is the Nissan Magnite a good option to buy?
Is it worth upgrading my Nissan Terrano, or should I buy a new car?
The Nissan Terrano is essentially a rebadged Renault Duster, and both models are now quite old. If you are happy with the car and its performance, you can consider upgrading to a new one. However, the Renault Duster will be making a return next month, and Nissan will also have its own version, which it calls the 'Tekton'.
We would recommend you wait to see those SUVs and then plan your new purchase.
I need cng automatic car that 65yr old male and young female could drive easily. Ground clearance is another factor which is important for my terrain. Do let me know if these priorities fit in a budget of 15L
I currently own an i10, which has reached the end of its life. I am looking to upgrade to at least a mini or micro SUV. My budget is ā¹6 to ā¹10 lakh, with a requirement of at least a 4 or 5-star GNCAP rating. I am open to sedans as well. Please suggest the best cars. However, I am also confused between buying a new car versus a used one or stretching my budget, as I am planning to move abroad in the next 6 to 12 months. I initially thought of buying a used car from trusted online portals, but I am worried about investing additional money in used cars in case they require major repairs.
I am confused between the Kia Sonet Petrol Turbo DCT and the Nissan Magnite Turbo CVT. Which one should I consider buying?
I have been driving a 2016 Maruti Wagon R VXi for nine years and want to upgrade. My budget is ā¹10-11 lakh. I need an automatic car with good mileage, sturdy suspension, and comfortable seating for five. I drive about 1,000 km per month (mostly city) with rare highway trips every six months. Please advise.
That is quite a tall order to fit into your budget of Rs 10-11 lakh. However, given your requirements, we would recommend the Nissan Magnite or the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
Both compact SUVs give the option of a fuel-efficient naturally aspirated petrol engine with an AMT auto gearbox at a good price, or a more powerful turbo-petrol engine with an auto gearbox that's not as fuel-efficient, but much smoother.
Both have robust suspension that should be capable both in the city as well as on the highway. That said, while both can fit 5, the back seat will be a tight squeeze for 3, but at this budget, almost every car would be.
Here, the Nissan Magnite has the edge on space, and overall, it is more affordable and a better value, too. Hence, it would be our pick for you.
I am buying a new car and want a decent all-rounder with good mileage. Iām considering the Nissan Magnite (higher variant) and am not keen on sedans. Is it a good choice, or should I consider other options? If so, please suggest alternatives.
It's hard to specify a car without knowing something about your needs, but yes, the Nissan Magnite is a good car. The turbo petrol engine is a very good performer, and along with the CVT automatic gearbox, it delivers an enjoyable drive experience.
The ride is good, there's a good amount of equipment, and it's very well priced. With the update, Nissan has also addressed some of the cost-cutting issues around the cabin.
