Sub-4-metre SUVs headed for over 15 lakh sales in FY2027
H1 FY2027’s 8,13,657 compact SUVs are already 55 percent of the record FY2026 sales of 14,73,422 units. Given the high double-digit growth of 28 percent in the past six months, the ongoing festive season, as well as the tailwinds for zero-emission compact SUVs, one can expect this popular SUV category to surpass the 15 lakh milestone for the first time in a fiscal year in FY2027.
