While its budget brand Datsun may be the big newsmaker at the Auto Expo, Nissan also has plenty to show. Among the cars showcased at the first day of the Auto Expo was the facelift Sunny saloon most changes on which are limited to the front. The headlamps are now bigger, more angular and go deep into the bumper. This also makes the grille look more pronounced. In fact, the Sunny now looks more like a smaller Teana than it did before.

It also gets new alloy wheels and chrome highlights on lower half of the bumper. Inside, the steering wheel is now leather wrapped and there is a screen display for the rear parking camera. The centre console is new too, and has a piano-black trim.

Also at the Nissan stand:

Enthusiasts were in for a treat with the legendary GT-R in full GT500 race spec gracing the carmaker’s stall; Nissan’s weapon in the ultra competitive Japanese Super GT Series.

Also present was the attractive Friend-Me concept that previews the design language of future Nissans. The sporty and low-slung saloon also features Nissan’s latest in in-car entertainment.
