The 2016 Ford Endeavour will be sold officially in Indian showrooms from January 20, 2016.

The Endeavour brand has always found favor with buyers in India but the currently on sale 2nd generation unit has seen a decline in numbers with mere double digit sales since 2014. As reported earlier, this new SUV will be available in three trims and two powertrain options.

The powertrain and gearbox options for the new Endeavour are as follows:

  • 2.2-litre 158bhp four cylinder with optional 4WD, mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox
  • 3.2-litre 197bhp five-cylinder diesel with standard 4WD, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox only.

Key features of the new Ford Endeavour are:

  • Ford My Key system
  • Eight-way power adjustable front seats
  • Ford SYNC Infotainment system\
  • CD/MP3 player with Bluetooth and AUX
  • Steering mounted audio controls
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Powered tailgate
  • Cruise control
