The 2016 Ford Endeavour will be sold officially in Indian showrooms from January 20, 2016.
The powertrain and gearbox options for the new Endeavour are as follows:
- 2.2-litre 158bhp four cylinder with optional 4WD, mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox
- 3.2-litre 197bhp five-cylinder diesel with standard 4WD, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox only.

The all-wheel-drive Endeavour, in addition, will offer hill descent control and Ford’s Terrain Management System. The top-spec Titanium model will have features such as seven airbags, automatic headlamps, LED daytime-running lamps, LED tail-lamps, ambient lighting, front parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring system. All models will get a seven-seat layout with split folding second and third rows along with reclining and sliding functions for the second row. The Endeavour will be offered with six colour options – Sunset Red, Diamond White, Golden Bronze, Moondust Silver, Panther Black and Smoke Grey.

Competition
The new Ford Endeavour will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, SsangYong Rexton and the recently launched Chevrolet Trailblazer.
