Mercedes-AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition has been launched in India at Rs 87 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition version of the Mercedes hot-hatch costs Rs 5.5 lakh less than the previous A45 AMG, which retailed for Rs 92.50 lakh in 2023. It features several styling enhancements that are specific to the Aero Track Edition while retaining the same 421hp four-cylinder engine of the standard A45 S.

  1. Gets a fixed rear wing, enlarged front splitter, 19-inch AMG wheels and more
  2. Reaches 100kph in a claimed 3.9 seconds

Gets plenty of gloss-black exterior trim and the ‘AMG Aerodynamics Package’

Adding to the exterior styling of the A45 S Aero Track Edition is the AMG Aerodynamics Package, which brings in gloss-black elements that include a pronounced front splitter, aero vanes on the front bumper, a fixed wing at the back and an air diffuser. Opting for the AMG Night Package extends the gloss-black finish to the side skirts, outside rearview mirror (ORVM) housing, beltline & windowline, and the AMG exhaust pipes. The A45 S Aero Track Edition also gets 19-inch forged alloys finished in matte-black, while the brake calipers are painted in red.

There are no mechanical changes over the A45 S

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 421hp and 500Nm of torque same as the standard A45 S. This engine is mated to an automatic transmission and he brand’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. The A45 S Aero Track Edition is capable of sprinting from 0-100kph in a claimed 3.9 seconds, while its top speed is pegged at 270kph.
