We’ve got our hands on the spy pictures of the all-new Mahindra Reva NXR in final stages of testing, spotted near Mysore, sent by our reader Nikhil Isaac.

We expect the car to finally hit Indian roads this year. A three-door, four-seater family hatchback, the will be offered with three range options from 80-160km per charge. There will be two kinds of batteries- Lithium ion and lead acid.

The cheaper version will come with a lead acid battery and will have 80kph top speed.  A more powerful version featuring lithium ion battery will have a range of approx 160km per charge and will have a claimed top speed of 104kph. Mahindra will showcase the new Reva NXR at the upcoming Auto Expo

We expect the new REVA NXR to hit the showrooms by mid-2012 with a price tag of Rs 4.5 – 6 lakh (est. ex-showroom).
