New spy shots of the Mahindra BE 07 offer a closer look at the upcoming electric SUV’s exterior. The test mule was spotted plugged into a public charging station, with several design details visible despite the camouflage. The test mule was earlier spotted featuring a triple-screen dashboard, while its overall design retains the angular styling of the BE range. The BE 07 will sit above the BE 6 in Mahindra’s electric SUV line-up and is expected to go on sale in 2027.
Mahindra BE 07: What do the spy shots reveal?

The latest spy shots show the BE 07 with a squared-off front end, a sculpted bonnet and C-shaped LED lighting signatures. The headlamps are positioned vertically below the daytime running lamps (DRLs), while the lower front bumper has air inlets. In profile, the SUV gets retractable door handles, aero-optimised alloy wheels and pronounced cladding around the wheel arches and along the lower body. The outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) also feature camera pods, confirming a surround-view camera system.

At the rear, the test mule features C-shaped LED tail-lamps and a prominent roof spoiler, with the rear wiper tucked beneath it. The camouflage, however, makes it difficult to establish some of the finer design details of the production model.
Mahindra BE 07 interior and powertrain

Earlier spy shots of the BE 07 have revealed a triple-screen layout, with three displays spanning the dashboard. Other expected features on the production-spec SUV include a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated BE logo, multicolour ambient lighting, a glass roof with illuminated elements, wireless phone charging and a five-seat layout.
The Mahindra BE 07 is expected to go on sale in 2027 and will be based on the INGLO platform that also underpins the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S. It is likely to get the BE 6’s 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, although its larger size could result in a lower claimed range. The BE 07 will compete with the Mahindra XEV 9e, Vinfast VF7, Tata Harrier EV and BYD Atto 3.
