  3. Powered by the same hybrid twin-turbo V8 as the standard Urus SE

Tettonero is an Italian word that translates to ‘black roof’, with ‘tetto’ meaning ‘roof’ and ‘nero’ meaning ‘black’. This limited-edition Urus SE Capsule model wears a ‘Nero Shiny’ (gloss-black) finish on the upper sections of the body, including the roof and pillars, as well as the spoiler tips and exhaust tips.

The main body can be optioned in six different hues: Arancio Xanto (vibrant orange), Bianco Asopo (white), Grigio Telesto (grey) and Viola Pasifae (purple); Giallo Tenerife (Tenerife yellow) and Verde Mercurius (Mercury green) have been made available on the Urus for the first time. These colours can also be applied to the brake calipers.

Additionally, Lamborghini is offering an equal number of livery/accent colours, including the vivid Arancio Borealis (orange), Rosso Mars (red) and Verde Mantis (green), as well as Bianco Monocerus (white), Giallo Auge (bright yellow) and Grigio Nimbus (metallic silver-grey).

Alloy sizes range from 21 to 23 inches, and customers can also opt for a ‘63’ badge on the lower section of front doors to commemorate the manufacturer’s founding year, 1963. Apart from the colours, the Urus SE Tettonero Capsule’s exterior can be personalised with a carbon-fibre rear diffuser, outside rearview mirror (ORVM) covers and front splitter.

The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule’s cabin is finished in Nero Ade (all-black), with six accent colour options to lend some contrast. These are Viola Acutus (vibrant purple), Bianco Leda (cool white), Giallo Quercus (bright yellow), Arancio Dryope (deep orange), Verde Viper (vibrant green) and Grigio Octans (grey). These tones can be matched with the exterior hues for a more cohesive look. Moreover, there are 12 colours to choose from for the seats, headrests and upholstery.

Like the exterior, the cabin also uses carbon-fibre on the passenger-side dashboard with a printed Urus SE silhouette, and a carbon-fibre Ad-Personam plate commemorates 20 years of Lamborghini’s customisation programme. While the interior is upholstered in a mix of Dinamica leather and Corsa-Tex microfibre, customers can also specify carbon-fibre trims on the central tunnel, instrument cluster and door panels.

Twin-turbo V8 engine; 312kph top speed

The special-edition Tettonero Capsule is offered with the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and a 25.9kWh battery pack as the standard Urus SE. The battery powers an electric motor placed ahead of the 8-speed automatic transmission, which can either give a boost to the V8 mill or send power to the rear wheels for an electronic AWD setup.

It has a combined system output of 799hp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 950Nm between 1,750rpm and 5,750rpm. With the Urus SE, Lamborghini claims a 0-100kph time of 3.4 seconds, a 0-200kph time of 11.4 seconds and a top speed of 312kph. It has an all-electric range of 60km and an all-electric top speed of 135kph.

Lamborghini has yet to reveal whether the Urus SE Tettonero Capsule will be launched in India. If the manufacturer brings it to the country, considering the added extras, it could be positioned at a considerable premium over the standard model’s Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom) price tag.
