Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition: What is it?
Gets additional features like a motorised side step and a roof carrier

The Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition is essentially an India-exclusive special edition of the Wrangler SUV. Based on the top-of-the-line Rubicon trim, it mainly features cosmetic upgrades and exclusive accessories. It gets a new ‘41 Green’ exterior paint that takes inspiration from the military green seen on the first-ever Willys Jeep. Additional paint options on offer include White, Red, Black and Blue. It also sports a ‘1941’ decal on the hood, marking the year production began for the first military-spec Jeep, the Willys MB.

Standard accessories worth Rs 2 lakh on the Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition include a powered side step, new interior grab handles, all-weather floor mats and front and rear dashcams. For an additional Rs 3.6 lakh, you can also have optional accessories such as a roof carrier with an integrated side ladder and a Sunrider rooftop. Compared to last year, the optional accessories cost about a lakh less.
The special edition Wrangler continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 272hp and 400Nm of torque. This unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission along with a 4x4 drive layout as standard.
