Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India has announced the introduction of ‘Jeep Connect’ outlets in the country. Essentially a network expansion strategy, Jeep Connect aims to bring the Jeep brand experience closer to customers in Tier-II cities.

The Jeep Connect outlets will be a natural extension of the Jeep showrooms and workshops that are set up in larger cities and will offer the same customer experience in smaller cities. The Jeep Connect outlet will have a two-car display and a Mopar workshop fully equipped to fulfill periodic maintenance jobs. However, accident-related jobs will still be undertaken at the brand’s larger workshops located in city centres.

Speaking about the Jeep Connect initiative, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “We wanted to take Jeep and Mopar brands closer to our customers living farther away from metros, and now we can achieve this with ‘Jeep Connect’, which is a compact concept that will offer the same premium experience that customers get in our outlets in city centres. ‘Jeep Connect’ underscores our commitment towards providing customers a premium Jeep® retail experience and sound customer care under Mopar.”

The first Jeep Connect outlet is already operational at Wakad, in the Pune district. The company is also set to open six more outlets by the end of this year in Rohtak, Ahmedabad, Muvthpuzha, Panipat, Bilaspur and Warangal.
