Most were expecting this year’s Geneva motor show to be dominated by displays of compact SUVs, a sector of the market that is doing remarkably well both in India and international markets like Europe. And while the diminutive SUVs were present, what completely stole the limelight and focus this year was the debut of an impressive collection of super-performance cars.

Other than the eagerly anticipated production version of the McLaren P1 and the LaFerrari – Ferrari’s replacement for the Enzo, the other big names at the show were the new Porsche 911 GT3, the Lamborghini Veneno and some special art editions of the Bugatti Veyron.
