As part of preparations for the upcoming festive season, Ford has introduced a Signature edition of its EcoSport at Rs 10.39 lakh (on-road, Delhi). The special edition is based on the sub-four-metre compact SUV’s Black Edition Titanium variant that was launched earlier this year. It gets cosmetic changes and extra features, all of which add Rs 38,000 to the on-road price of the Black Edition of the EcoSport.

Changes to the exteriors come in the form of bumper appliques, blacked-out cross bars on the roof rails and ‘EcoSport’ decals on the sides. The bumpers also get LED strips under the fog lamps.
Interiors of the Signature edition EcoSport feature black vinyl seat covers with red stitching, and illuminated scuff plates.

The engine and gearbox on the special-edition EcoSport remain unchanged, and so, the Signature EcoSport continues to be powered by the 100hp 1.5-litre petrol and the 112hp 1.5-litre petrol engines. Both engines get five-speed manual gearboxes as standard, while the petrol engine also comes with the option of a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The Ford EcoSport rivals the Mahindra TUV300 and the popular Maruti Vitara Brezza.

Here’s a look at the on-road, Delhi prices for the Signature edition Ford EcoSport.
Signature edition EcoSport petrol - Rs 10.39 lakh
Signature edition EcoSport diesel - Rs 11.25 lakh
Signature edition EcoSport petrol Automatic - Rs 11.55 lakh
