With anticipation building up over Nissan’s budget brand Datsun’s product showing at the Auto Expo 2014, the carmaker has now announced that it will start sales as early as March, merely a month after the Expo.

The carmaker will showcase its Datsun Go hatchback in all available paint shades, the Go+ seven-seater MPV – for the first time in India – and a new concept car. Sources in the company say the concept car’s styling is aimed at attracting younger car buyers, at the same time, retaining all features that reflect the brand’s values.

The Auto Expo 2014 will be the first motor show Datsun will participate in, across its history, in India and revival of the budget brand is indeed good news for the popular low-cost segment in our market.
