In a bid to drive up sales of its slow-selling GO models, Datsun has launched limited Style editions of its GO and GO+ models at a starting price of Rs 4,06,974 and Rs 4,77,552 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly this is a Rs 10,000 premium for the GO and a Rs 5,000 premium for the GO+ over their T trim (one level below top) variants on which they are based. The Go and G+ Style editions will be on sale across all Datsun sales outlets for a limited period from August to October, 2016.

Both cars feature stylistic changes only. Mechanically, the cars remain the same. The Style editions sport some exterior options such as new roof rails, a rear spoiler, body graphics and the limited edition ‘Style’ logo. Inside, customers can select a dual-tone black and beige interior and a piano black centre instrument cluster with silver accents.

Along with the existing option of White and Ruby colours, Datsun is also offering the Style editions of the GO and GO+ in a New Blue colour. Both the models come with a two year/unlimited kilometres warranty with Free Road Side Assistance that can be extended up to five years with unlimited kilometres, as well.

The GO and the GO + have been averaging around 800 units for the past year, but the last four months did see a small climb in sales of around 500 units per month for the GO. With this launch, Datsun is hoping to help boost this momentum.
