Bharat Petroleum Corporation has begun doorstep delivery of diesel for industrial and bulk customers in Noida. The company has started delivery of the fuel from Shaheed Ramendra Pratap Singh Petrol Pump at Sector-95 in Noida.

According to BPCL, this service will benefit housing societies, malls, hospitals, banks, large transporters and construction sites, along with small and big industries. The customers can book diesel through the FillNow app – an app created by Noida-based Synergy Teletech Pvt Ltd – and have it delivered to a given location.

The fuel-delivery vehicle comes fitted with a mobile dispenser and a 4,000-litre fuel tank. This service aims to ensure a hassle-free supply of the fuel directly to end-users and also avoid unnecessary fuel spillage, unsafe handling, and/or pilferage.

Kirti Kumar, sales officer, BPCL Noida, said, “Presently, we are providing this facility to the industrial need like malls, small and heavy manufacturing industries. In the future, the government is planning to extend this facility to individual car owners. Through this Bowser (door-to-door delivery vehicle) the safety aspect is taken care of. Furthermore, the quality and quantity are also assured as we have fuel which will be dispensed assuring the correct quantity and right quantity directly from BPCL Pump. Bowser has a geofencing system which ensures that fuel will be delivered only at ordered locations. Hence, no other fuel can be added or pilfered in between transportation.”

According to BPCL, once a customer downloads the FillNow app, they can select the delivery location. After that, the customer's location will be connected to the company’s server. Once they place the order, it will be sent to the concerned BPCL dealer with all the details of the customer (name, phone number, quantity required, address and time of delivery).

After receiving the receipt of the order, the vehicle reaches the destination and dispensing commences through automation. The fuel dispenser is equipped with fire extinguishers, safety cones and other things to demarcate the delivery area. Also, the customer gets an SMS alert before their order reaches them. The customer can complete the payment using cash or cashless methods. The payment receipt is generated accordingly.

FillNow is said to be India’s first on-demand, fully automated fuel-delivery service, and is a brand owned by Synergy Teletech Pvt Ltd – a company based in Noida. FillNow has been active for five years, during which it has handled fuel delivery to mobile towers, agriculture, manufacturing units, and the Buddh International Circuit. It has been known for propagating the use of alternate environment-friendly fuel like 'Synergy Green Diesel' – the brand's indigenously developed distilled grade bio-diesel.

The FillNow app is available for download at the Google Play Store and Android App Store.
