Autocar Awards 2022: Industry stalwarts convene at most coveted awards ceremony

    The biggest names from the automobile industry came together for India’s most coveted automotive awards ceremony – the Autocar Awards 2022. The ceremony, which was held at the Taj Land’s End lawns in Mumbai, celebrated the industry’s finest – both, the illustrious machines and the people behind them – over an extravagant evening.

    In attendance were prominent names from the automotive world such as Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group; and Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Group; with the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Government of Maharashtra, Aaditya Thackeray, gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Thackeray, also an avid car enthusiast, captivated attendees with his insights on the future of the automobile industry against the backdrop of growing demand as well as environmental needs.

    Auto bigwigs in attendance were Audi India's Balbir Singh Dhillon, MG Motor India's Gaurav Gupta, Skoda India's Zac Hollis, Martin Schwenk from Mercedes-Benz India, Kia India's Hardeep Brar, Sharad Agarwal from Lamborghini India, Sudarshan Venu from TVS, among others, all of whom made the star-studded evening a truly momentous occasion.

    Among the big winners were the Mahindra XUV700 and the TVS Raider 125, which won top honours at the awards. You can read the full list of winners at the Autocar Awards 2022 here.
