    2019 BMW 620d GT launched at Rs 63.90 lakh

    BMW has just launched the 6 Series Gran Turismo in a new entry-level 620d variant which is priced at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new 620d GT only comes in one trim, which is the Luxury Line trim. Prior to the launch of this model, the 6 Series GT range consisted on the 630d diesel (Rs 68.90-73.90 lakh) and 630i petrol (Rs 63.90 lakh) variants in India, with the former being offered with the M Sport version.

    Mechanically, the 620d GT comes equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which produces 190hp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is capable of doing the 0-100kph sprint in 7.9sec.

    Coming to the inside, it receives a number of bells and whistles such as the 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support, a 8.8-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting and a wood interior trim with chrome inserts dotted around the cabin. The car is also offered with a rear-seat entertainment system which includes two 10.2-inch screens mounted behind the front seats that feature a BluRay player as well as HDMI, MP3 and gaming console connections. 

    BMW also offers a range of three upholstery options with exclusive stitching/piping options in contrast. These comprise the Leather 'Dakota' Ivory White with Black/Dark Coffee; a two-tone Leather 'Dakota' Canberra Beige; and Leather 'Dakota' Cognac with Black.

    The car is offered in a few different metallic exterior colours options which include Mineral White, Glacier Silver, Mediterranean Blue and Royal Burgundy Red.

    BMW also launched the Z4 in India, recently, at a price of Rs 64.90 lakh. The brand has seen a 19 percent increase in sales as well, between January and March 2019.
