Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased Fortuner prices across the range by Rs 60,000 to Rs 87,000. The premium SUV now starts at Rs 34.76 lakh and goes up to Rs 50.46 lakh, ex-showroom. The steepest hikes are on the Legender and GR-S versions, as well as the standard SUV’s 4WD automatic variant.

Toyota Fortuner powertrains
The petrol Fortuner gets a 2.7-litre engine making 166hp and is available only with an automatic gearbox. Diesel versions use a 2.8-litre engine with 204hp, and buyers can choose between manual and automatic gearboxes. Toyota also offers the diesel with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The four-wheel-drive option remains limited to diesel Fortuner variants.
Next-gen Fortuner details
Toyota will retain the 2.8-litre diesel and 48V mild-hybrid setup in the next-generation Fortuner (codename 582D), along with its ladder-frame platform, despite stricter CAFE 3 norms.
Between January and April 2026, Toyota reported total sales of over 1.37 lakh units, up 19 percent from the same period last year, while domestic sales rose 20 percent to 1.27 lakh units.
