After a decade of production, the Jaguar F-Pace production has ended with the final model rolling out of the Solihull facility in the UK, paving the way for the manufacturer's electric-only plans. The last model will be presented to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, which houses other final models of the manufacturer.

Jaguar F-Pace: All you need to know

Marked Jaguar’s debut in the luxury SUV segment globally

The F-Pace was Jaguar’s first SUV, which was showcased at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (formerly known as the North American International Auto Show). Global sales commenced in 2016, and the F-Pace was launched in India in October. Back then, it was launched only with two diesel engines. Later in 2018, it was updated with a 2-litre four-cylinder petrol option as well. In 2021, it received its first (and only) facelift, which updated it with some new design elements and amenities.

In its outgoing avatar, the Jaguar SUV was offered with an option between a 247hp, 2-litre petrol engine and a 204hp, 2-litre diesel engine, both of which were mated with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that sent power to all four wheels (AWD). Both versions of the F-Pace were priced similarly at Rs 72.90 lakh.

The F-Pace’s discontinuation aligns with the former CEO, Thierry Bolloré, revealing in 2021 plans to position Jaguar as an all-electric brand.

Jaguar’s future plans

First Jaguar product after the F-Pace to debut in 2026

The F-Pace’s production end also marks the end of life of the ICE powertrain in a Jaguar model. Hence, there are no cars in the manufacturer’s global lineup currently.

Jaguar’s new brand identity was revealed in November 2024, showcasing a new logo and insignias. In December, it unveiled the Type 00 Concept, which previewed the manufacturer’s design language for its upcoming models.

The production-spec version of the 4-door electric GT model was planned to be revealed by the end of 2025. It has been pushed to 2026 following a major cyberattack in August 2025, which halted its global production in the Solihull, Halewood and Wolverhampton facilities. The production resumed in October 2025, marking a delay in the EV’s launch.

The production version of the 4-door EV will be manufactured at Jaguar’s Solihull plant in the UK. Notably, this was also the production facility of the outgoing F-Pace. The upcoming EV will launch first in North America and Europe, and if it comes to India, the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT could be its potential rivals.
