Hyundai has commenced bookings for the Creta N Line for a token amount of Rs 25,000, and the launch is slated for March 11. The Creta N Line will be the third model in Hyundai’s line-up to get the N Line treatment, and as with the cars before it, there will be sportier exterior and interior embellishments as well as a retuned suspension and steering geometry.

UPDATE: Hyundai Creta N Line to get N8, N10 trims

  1. Creta N Line gets 160hp turbo-petrol engine with MT and DCT
  2. Gets two new colour options – blue and matte grey
  3. Bookings open for a token amount of Rs 25,000

Hyundai Creta N Line exterior and interior

This is also the first time Hyundai has officially released images of the Creta N Line. It gets a much sportier front end with an all-new grille and bumper assembly that has lots of angular cuts, wider air inlets and a bull bar-like element down on the chin. The headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lamps, however, remain unchanged.

In profile, the Creta N Line gets pronounced side skirts with red accents, N Line badging and larger 18-inch wheels with lower profile tyres that fill the wheel arches really well. The brake callipers are also finished in red. At the rear, there’s a larger roof-mounted spoiler and a sportier bumper with a prominent diffuser. It also gets a new colour option – thunder blue with black roof.

And while Hyundai hasn't shared an interior image yet, we do not expect as comprehensive a update as the exterior. The dashboard, however, is expected to get an all-black finish with contrast red accents throughout the cabin. Other N Line updates could include an N Line-specific steering wheel, gear lever and metals pedals. Being based on the top-spec trim, the Creta N Line comes fully loaded with all the gadgets you get on the regular Creta.

Hyundai Creta N Line mechanical upgrades

The Creta N Line will be available with the 160hp, 253Nm, 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. What will be a delight for enthusiasts is that Hyundai will also be offering a proper 6-speed manual gearbox. As is typical to N Line models, the Creta N Line also gets a retuned suspension setup, reworked steering dynamics and a sportier exhaust with twin tips.

Hyundai Creta rivals and price

Upon launch, the Creta N Line will not have any direct rival, but some other special edition variants in this segment include the Kia Seltos X Line and the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo. Expect a markup of about Rs 50,000 for the N Line variant over the regular Creta.
