Mini has confirmed that it will launch the 2026 Countryman C in India on June 17. Upon arrival, this variant of the British brand’s premium SUV will slot below the performance-focused Countryman JCW All4. Pre-bookings for the Mini Countryman C are already underway.
- Will be placed below the Countryman JCW All4 variant
- Likely to get a 136hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine
2026 Mini Countryman C powertrain
Powering the 2026 Mini Countryman C will be a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol direct-injection engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. While Mini India is yet to confirm the exact specifications of this variant’s engine, it could be the three-cylinder mill used in the BMW X1. In the X1, this engine produces 136hp and 230Nm of torque. For comparison, the Countryman JCW All4’s 2.0-litre turbocharged engine pushes out 300hp and 400Nm.
2026 Mini Countryman C design and interior
The 2026 Mini Countryman C will be available in five exterior colours – Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Nanuq White, Slate Blue and Smokey Green. Its design will share similarities with the Countryman Electric but with a slightly revised grille and bumpers. The 2026 Countryman C will get body-coloured door handles, black outside rearview mirror (ORVM) housing, door pillars and roof. It will also get champagne-coloured exterior trim, alloy wheels and matrix LED tail-lamps.
The interior of the 2026 Countryman C is likely to borrow design elements seen in the other Mini cars, including the Countryman Electric. The cabin could feature a dual-tone theme with champagne-coloured trim, the brand’s signature circular touchscreen, a high-end audio system, paddleshifters and a head-up display (HUD).
2026 Mini Countryman C expected price
The locally assembled 2026 Mini Countryman C will be more affordable than the range-topping JCW All4 variant, which is priced at Rs 64.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the BMW X1, the 2026 Countryman C will go up against the Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in India.
