A few weeks ago, we reported that Classic Legends would launch an updated version of the Yezdi Adventure on May 15, but the company has now communicated that the launch has been postponed.

  1. Launch now expected in early June
  2. New Yezdi Adventure will get an updated design

Yezdi Adventure launch: what happened?

Will likely launch in June

Classic Legends has taken this decision due to the recent India-Pakistan conflict. The company’s statement reads, “In view of the current situation and the evolving national context, we believe it is our responsibility to stand with our forces and show solidarity. We have therefore taken the decision to postpone the event out of respect for the prevailing priorities.”

The company went on to state that it will issue a revised timeline once the situation stabilises. As of now, we understand that a launch in early June is being evaluated.

This launch may come as a surprise as it's less than a year since Classic Legends launched an updated version of the Yezdi Adventure with engine and aesthetic changes, particularly in respect to the metal crash cage around the fuel tank. However, as it turns out, Classic Legends was working on a further design update that couldn’t be completed last year, which is why another version will be launching soon.

We have learned that this time around, the bike will get a design change that will be unique in the segment. Mechanically, the Adventure will continue with the same 29.6hp, 29.8Nm, 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.

The Yezdi Adventure currently costs Rs 2.10 lakh-2.16 lakh, depending on the colour. The bike occupies a unique spot in the market and is currently priced between the Hero Xpulse 210 and the KTM 250 Adventure.
