The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been spotted at a dealership in a red colour scheme. This isn’t the first time the bike has been seen in production form. Back in July, the model was spotted in a black colourway, following its initial showcase in white at EICMA 2024.

Hero Karizma XMR 250: What we know so far

Red colour scheme and design details

In terms of overall design, the XMR 250 looks much like the XMR 210, with a similar projector LED headlamp and boomerang-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). The fairing extends lower below the headlamp, and the bike gets integrated winglets. Also visible are a tall windscreen, a gold-finished USD fork, a sculpted fuel tank and a split seat.

The Karizma XMR 250 will likely be powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the Xtreme 250R, producing 30hp at 9,250rpm and 25.3Nm at 7,500rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Hero is yet to announce an official launch date or pricing for the Karizma XMR 250. However, the appearance of a production-ready motorcycle at a dealership suggests that a launch could be close.

For reference, the Karizma XMR 210 is priced from Rs 1.86 lakh, while the Xtreme 250R is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh. The XMR 250 is expected to be priced above both models, close to the Rs 2 lakh mark. Its rivals will include the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200 and Yamaha R2.

All prices, ex-showroom, Delhi.
