Up until January 2024, a total of 7,14,484 units have been sold and the Raider has turned out to be a key contributor to TVS’ overall growth in the two-wheeler market. Among the new products that are catering to surging demand for sporty 125cc motorcycles, the tech-laden Raider continues to witness an accelerating pace of consumer acceptance from Gen-Z motorcycle buyers.

The Raider sold 3,98,354 units in just the first 10 months of the ongoing FY24, surpassing the 2,39,388 units it clocked in FY23.

What’s more, the Raider has become TVS’ bestselling motorcycle in the current fiscal, ahead of the Apache series’ 10-month cumulative sales of 3,09,242 units. In addition, the Raider is the third-bestselling TVS product on two wheels, after the Jupiter scooter range (6,99,613 units) and the XL moped (3,99,877 units).

The Raider 125 accounts for 39 percent of TVS’ motorcycle sales of 10,21,739 units in the first 10 months of FY2024. The Raider is followed by the Apache (3,09,242 units - 30 percent share), Sport (1,48,457 - 14.5 percent share), Radeon (1,09,696 units - 11 percent share), Star City (37,329 units), Ronin (13,885 units) and the Apache RR 310 (4,776 units).

Given that TVS Motor Co’s bike sales at 10,21,739 units in the first 10 months of FY24 are already the company’s best-ever, going past FY19’s 10,14,923 units, demand for the Raider 125, along with other TVS bikes will further propel the company’s sales to a record high.
