TVS Racing training school begins on January 27

Ahead of the racing season that begins in June 2018, TVS Racing is organising a training school at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai. Since it is an FMSCI-affiliated training school, the participants, upon completion, will be able to compete in the TVS One Make Series in 2018.

The training will be conducted by TVS racers K. Jagan, Harry Silvester, Ahamed, S. Kannan and Aishwarya Pissay. The first batch starts on January 27, 2018, and will be open to all. TVS Racing is also planning to conduct three additional sessions later this year. 

The registration fee for each participant per batch is Rs 6,000 and includes on-track and classroom training, a TVS Apache RTR 200 for training purpose and riding gear. However, riders are expected to carry their own helmets. Each batch will comprise of 50 riders, who, upon completion of the programme, can apply for the Novice category of TVS One Make Championship.
