The TVS Motor Company has hiked the prices of its Apache motorcycles in India.

The price hike is applicable to all Apache motorcycles, from the RTR 160 to the RR 310. Starting at the bottom of the Apache product pyramid, the Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 have received a price hike of Rs 3,000 and Rs 4,000, respectively.

The prices of the Apache RTR 160 4v and Apache RTR 200 4v, TVS’ popular models, have also gone up by Rs 3,000 and Rs 4,000, irrespective of their variants. The dual disc brake equipped Apache RTR 160 4v, for instance, will set you back by Rs 1.14 lakh instead of Rs 1.11 lakh, previously.

The TVS Apache RR 310, the flagship motorcycle in the portfolio, has received the biggest price jump of the lot. The RR 310 is dearer by Rs 5,000 and that pushes its price to Rs 2.54 lakh.

TVS hasn't released any official communication about the reasons behind the price hike. Nevertheless, despite the increase in prices, the TVS Apache series remains competitively priced.
