TVS is all set to launch the Apache RR 310 tomorrow (December 6) at 11am. The fully faired motorcycle is one of the most awaited motorcycle launches of the year. It will be the company’s fastest and most expensive bike till date. Let us look at what we know so far about TVS’ Apache RR 310.

Sharp looker
There has been no shortage of leaked images and videos of the upcoming Apache. The latest of which almost completely reveals the design of the bike. With its high tail and sharp fairing, the RR 310 features an aggressive supersport-like design. The bike also looks to have a large angular tank that works well with the rest of motorcycle design. The RR 310 is going to be one of the sharpest, raciest-looking motorcycles in its segment.

Track-focused
TVS has been teasing the motorcycle with videos and captions suggesting how it will be track-focused. They have gone so far as to say that it is “crafted to hit the apex” and we do not doubt that. The motorcycle has all the bits needed for it to be a track-focused motorcycle. Its aggressive stance, high cornering clearance, reasonably rear-set foot pegs, USD fork, trellis-frame, Michelin tyres should help it perform well on the track.

High-tech DNA
Since the RR 310 has been built around the BMW 310 R, we expect it to share its high-tech DNA. It will get the same 313cc, DOHC, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. While the peak power and torque outputs for the BMW stand at 34hp and 28Nm of torque, respectively, there’s a chance that the engine will be tuned differently for the TVS. We do believe that many of the underpinnings will be shared with the BMW. This engine will be reverse inclined, just like in the G 310 R, for better weight distribution. In addition to this, it will come equipped with dual-channel ABS, all-around LED lighting, and a feature-filled instrument cluster.

You can watch the launch as it happens at 12pm on December 6 right here on www.autocarindia.com Stay tuned!
