The Suzuki Hayabusa needs no introduction in India, for it is the most popular superbike here. Suzuki is looking to make it even more special with a new Special Edition and additional bits. It costs about a lakh rupees more than the standard variant, which has been refreshed with new colours. Both iterations have received refinements across a few electronic rider-aid systems. Please note that the Hayabusa Special Edition launched in India is the 2026 version. Suzuki has introduced a newer, 2027 Special Edition globally, which is finished in a different Pearl Brilliant White colour with grey highlights and is not yet available in our market.

What’s different on the Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition?
Additional standard accessories and decals, but no mechanical differences
Suzuki offers the Hayabusa Special Edition in a single Pearl Vigor Blue colour. It also stands apart from the standard Hayabusa with special decals and wheel finish, special emblems on the tank, anodised muffler-end and heat guards, and a standard single-seat cowl accessory. For these additional bits, Suzuki has priced it at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), Rs 91,000 over the refreshed standard Hayabusa.
The other changes are common to both motorcycles. Both get a new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery that’s said to be lighter and more compact while delivering more stable voltage under load. On the rider aids front, Suzuki says the launch control system and power mode selector settings have been revised. The Smart cruise control system is now said to remain active even during gear shifts, thereby letting riders maintain the selected speed without having to hold the throttle open. Lastly, the standard Hayabusa comes in new colours now: Candy Daring Red with Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray with Gold and Pearl Vigor Blue with White. For the refined feature set and colours, Suzuki has increased the price by Rs 93,000 over the previous version to Rs 18.99 lakh.
Besides these changes, the motorcycles remain the same. They have the famed 1,340cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine, the accessible 800mm seat height, a monumental 266kg kerb weight, Brembo Stylema four-piston front brake calipers, bespoke Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres and multiple rider aids such as six riding modes (three preset and three user customisable), cornering ABS, launch control, traction control, cruise control, and hill-hold and hill-descent control, to name a few. Suzuki says the updated Hayabusas are already available at Suzuki showrooms across the country.
