The revised Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates have come into effect, and all bikes under 350cc have seen a price reduction. For manufacturers like KTM, this is a double-edged sword because there are some models that benefit from it while others become more expensive. Here, we have focused on the bikes that become more affordable as we now have an exact price reduction.
- Newly launched 160 Duke is more affordable by Rs 14,000
- 250 Adventure sees the biggest price drop among affected models
KTM bikes see price drop post GST revision
Four bikes have seen a price drop in the KTM line-up
KTM has five bikes in its Indian portfolio that benefit from the new GST rates – 160 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke, RC 200 and 250 Adventure. For four of them, we have the exact price reduction because the company has shared the revised prices. The 250 Adventure sees the biggest price drop, at Rs 20,000, and the newly launched India-specific model, the 160 Duke, has seen a Rs 14,000 price drop.

While the prices of the bikes that have seen a reduction have been shared so far, we still don’t have clarity on the new prices for models like the 390 Duke and the big bikes which will likely see a price hike.
