Royal Enfield has bolstered the Hunter 350 portfolio with the introduction of a new Base Premium variant. Priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), it brings in some added features at a cost-effective price.

The Base Premium is the second most affordable way into Hunter 350 ownership. While the Base variant runs spokes, the Base Premium uses new 17-inch cast alloy wheels shod with thinner MRF rubber. The front tyre is a 100-section unit, whereas the rear is a 120-section unit. These are the same sizes as the Base but thinner than most Hunters you’ll see on the road with their 110/140-section tyres.
The halogen headlight on the Base Premium is a more powerful 54W unit than the lower-rated one on the Base variant. It also has a pilot lamp and is the same unit that the Hunter models used to come with before the 2025 facelift. There’s a USB-C charger under the clutch lever, and this, too, is the same as the one on the Base, which is slightly slower than that of the higher variants.
The rest of the package stays very familiar, with the lovable 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine making the same 20hp/27Nm of peak output, nestled within the same rolling chassis. Like the Base variant, you get a 153mm drum rear brake with the same 300mm front disc; both are mated to a single-channel ABS.
At Rs 1.50 lakh, the Base Premium sits above the Rs 1.38 lakh Base variant in the Hunter line-up and brings in a crucial improvement over it for not a lot more dough. The Hunter line-up’s prices now top out at Rs 1.70 lakh, with new Moonshot White and Mumbai Yellow colourways added at this higher price point.
