Royal Enfield has announced dates for the 15th edition of the Himalayan Odyssey. The mega ride, to be held from July 5-22, 2018, will see participants cover nearly 2,200km across north India over 18 days. Registrations for both, the Himalayan Odyssey and the Himalayan Odyssey Women, have opened today.

The ride will be flagged off from India Gate, Delhi and will go all the way up to Khardung La, which rests slightly over 17,500 feet above sea level. Only 50 participants are allowed on the Himalayan Odyssey and 20 women participants on the Himalayan Odyssey Women edition. Both the rides will be flagged off together from Delhi and will ride on different routes before finally meeting at Leh.

Royal Enfield say that through the ride, the participants will cover the picturesque regions of the Himalayas in Ladakh as well as Spiti and both the regions will throw hostile challenges at the riders in terms of weather and terrain.
