Indian two-wheeler company, Royal Enfield, has entered the Japanese market.

  • Royal Enfield’s first store in Japan is located in Tokyo

  • 500cc and 650cc models will be available

Royal Enfield recently commenced operations in Japan with a store situated in Suginami, Tokyo. This store will handle sales and service of the company’s motorcycles and also retail apparel and accessories.

The company has said that this is a fresh start for it in what is perhaps the most iconic automobile market in the Asia-Pacific region. Royal Enfield also added that the opening of the new dealership is in-line with the company’s plans on expanding the global mid-size motorcycle segment.

At present, Royal Enfield has five motorcycles on sale in Japan. The portfolio includes the Bullet 500, Classic 500, Himalayan, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
