KTM has reintroduced the 790 Duke in international markets for 2023 and it is now sold in two versions. The 790 Duke also gets two new colours for 2023 – white and orange. KTM has additionally revealed new colour schemes for its 125 and 390 Duke and RC models as well as the 890 Duke GP.

  1. 790 Duke will be sold in two versions with different power outputs
  2. Both 125 and 390 RC Duke models get new colours
  3. KTM 890 Duke GP gets a new black colourway

KTM 790 Duke returns in Euro 5 guise: details

The 2023 KTM 790 Duke will be offered in two different output versions. The European markets will get the 95hp model, which can be restricted further to 47hp for A2-licence holders. All other global markets will get the full-fat 105hp model, although torque stays the same at 87Nm for both versions. What remains to be seen, however, is whether KTM India intends to bring the 790 Duke back here as the bike proved to be a hard sell (at KTM’s then high asking price of Rs 8.64 lakh, ex-showroom), when 100 units were brought here in CKD form in 2019.

KTM RC, Duke 125, 390 and 890 Duke GP get new colours: details

While the Indian market got new colour options for the entire Duke line-up a while ago, the international models have just received these new paint schemes.

The same goes for the GP Editions of the RC 125 and 390, which were launched here quite some time ago, but are making their way to international markets just now. However, one feature where the international RC models have a leg-up over the India-spec ones is that they get a tinted front visor as standard.

KTM had unveiled a more ‘orange’ version of its 890 Duke, in the form of the 890 Duke GP, earlier this year. However, for 2023, KTM has taken a relatively tame approach when it comes to the colour scheme with the bodywork being black and white and only the subframe and wheels being finished in orange. For those who prefer their KTMs boldly orange, fret not, because the original orange paint scheme is still on sale.
