A reputed Mumbai-based dealer is offering discounts worth Rs 91,000 on Kawasaki’s smallest adventure tourer – the Versys-X 300 – bringing its effective on-road price down to Rs 3.69 lakh in Mumbai.

1. Kawasaki Versys-X 300's effective on-road price is Rs 3.69 lakh
2. The discount is offered by a Mumbai-based dealer
3. Versys-X 300's actual on-road price is Rs 4.60 lakh

Kawasaki Versys-X 300 discounts: What’s new?

The Versys-X 300 shares its engine with the Ninja 300.

The Versys-X 300 is priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and with the current discount, its on-road price drops to just Rs 3.69 lakh – only Rs 20,000 more than the ex-showroom price. The claimed actual on-road price before discounts is Rs 4.60 lakh.

Generally, discounts are offered on previous year models or remaining stock, but this Mumbai dealer is offering it on the 2026 model of the Versys-X 300. This makes the bike a compelling proposition, as its compatriots - the 390 Adventure range and Himalayan 450 - have been affected by the GST 2.0 hike as they breach the 350cc displacement category and sit in a higher tax bracket. This comes just a day after KTM hiked prices of the 390 Adventure X, which is now priced at Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), but also gets more features, though with a single-cylinder engine.

It is pertinent to note that this discount is being offered only by a dealer in Mumbai and isn’t applicable pan-India. For further clarity, we suggest you contact your nearest Kawasaki dealership.

The Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39hp and 26Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

What do you think about the push for ethanol blends even higher than E20 petrol?

Good move; it cuts dependence on crude oil imports
I support it as it’s a greener solution than pure petrol
I’ll accept it only if it’s cheaper than E20 petrol
I am concerned about damage to my vehicle
Not good; fuel efficiency will drop even further
