India Kawasaki Motors has announced the launch of an extended warranty programme (7 years over the standard 3 years) for the MY26 Kawasaki KLX230. Priced at just Rs 2,499, this initiative provides coverage for engine parts and gearbox components, ensuring that KLX230 owners enjoy a hassle-free riding experience with complete peace of mind for an extended period.

The KLX230 is currently priced at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom).

The KLX230 was first launched in India at Rs 3.30 lakh. In August, Kawasaki localised it, and the ex-showroom price dropped by Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 1.99 lakh. With lower tax under GST 2.0, the price fell further to Rs 1.84 lakh. The 7-year extended warranty on engine parts and gearbox components at Rs 2,499 makes the bike an even more compelling proposition.

As for features, the KLX230 makes use of a basic LCD screen with Bluetooth and single-channel ABS.

Yutaka Yamashita, the managing director of India Kawasaki Motors, stated, “The KLX230 has been a trusted companion for off-road enthusiasts and everyday riders alike. Riders can now enjoy the freedom of adventure with the assurance of long-term protection.”
