KTM has updated the 1290 Super Duke GT for 2019. The bike features cosmetic updates, some mechanical changes and new tech. The 1290 Super Duke R has also been updated and gets two new colour schemes.

The Super Duke GT now features a revised windscreen, which KTM say offers easier adjustability. The headlight on the motorcycle is redesigned, making it similar to the Super Duke naked and GT also gets new hand guards. The motorcycle also features a new 6.5-inch TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity. Making it more touring friendly are new storage compartments and a USB charging port.

The settings (Sport, Street and Comfort) for the electronically-adjustable WP suspension have been updated for 2019. The bike also features a slightly revised motor with new titanium inlet valves and resonator chambers. The GT is also running a different ECU tune and the 1,301cc, V-twin engine now produces 175hp and 141Nm of torque – up by 2hp and down by 3Nm, compared to the older bike. There is also a Track riding mode now. Lastly, the GT also features a new bi-directional quick shifter.

The Super Duke R, on the other hand, is now available with two new colour schemes – black and white. Prices for these updated models have not yet been announced.
