As the nationwide lockdown enters its third week, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced relief measures aimed at supporting its sales and service partners across the country. Honda tells us that the support package will effectively provide immediate liquidity to its dealer partners.

The support measures include “advance payments of incentives and reimbursements across the three functions (sales, service and spare parts), buyback of BS4 inventory lying unsold with few dealers majorly in Delhi NCR area; and also entirely bearing the interest cost of BS6 inventory (physical and transit) with the dealers, for the 21 days of nationwide lockdown.”

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, director of sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said, “The support package will effectively provide immediate liquidity to our dealer partners and we are confident that it will comprehensively ease their business continuity anxiety and improve cash flow.”

Earlier this week, Honda also announced that it was extending the free services and warranties that expired between March 15 and April 15, 2020 by two months.
