Honda India has become the latest manufacturer to extend free service and warranty periods for its two-wheelers, owing to the current countrywide lockdown. So far, Yamaha, TVS and Bajaj have announced similar solutions, as customers may struggle to get their vehicles serviced on time or avail warranty benefits that may expire during the COVID-19 lockdown period.

Now, Honda two-wheeler customers whose free service schedule falls between March 15 and April 15, 2020 will have it extended by two months.  Similarly, those warranties ending between the same dates will also be extended by two months.

Honda has also announced that in keeping with the government lockdown, its service centres, and call centres too, are not operational.
