    Honda launches Dream Yuga

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its first mass-market motorcycle for the Indian market, named the Dream Yuga. The 110cc motorcycle is priced at Rs 44,642 (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs 48.028 (ex-showroom, Mumbai)

The bike which was first unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo will be the latest in the long line of Honda ‘Dream’-badged motorcycles. The Dream Yuga is minimalistic and is available in five colours. Styling isn’t very different from the Shine and it boasts features like a self-starter, alloy wheels, long seat, full chain cover and tubeless tyres as options. The bike is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder Honda motor that makes 8.5bhp.

The Dream Yuga competes with the likes of the Bajaj Discover, Hero MotoCorp Passion Pro, Splendor Pro and the Yamaha YBR.

The company has also announced to rope in Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador.
