Hero Vida enters Nepal
The brand enters its first international market with three electric products
Hero MotoCorp had previously announced plans to launch the Vida brand in the UK, Germany, France and Spain by September 2025, but those plans appear to have been delayed. Earlier this week, however, Hero confirmed the start of operations in Germany through its ICE motorcycle range, with the XPulse 200 4V leading the way. Nepal therefore becomes Vida’s first confirmed international market, with further overseas expansion expected to follow.
The Vida VX2 line-up comprises five variants across two sub-families – Go and Plus. The Go range includes the Go 2.2, Go 2.2 RQ and Go 3.4, all featuring an LCD display and two riding modes but differing in battery capacity, claimed range and charging speeds. The Plus range, available as the Plus 3.4 and the recently launched Plus 4.4, adds a front disc brake, a TFT display and three riding modes.
The Dirt.E K3, meanwhile, is a youth-focused electric off-roader featuring a three-size adaptive modular frame that can be adjusted as a child grows. It also comes with app-based parental controls and three selectable speed modes.
Alongside its international expansion, Vida is working to expand its product portfolio. A new sub-Rs 1 lakh electric scooter with a fixed battery is expected to launch in August. The brand is also developing multiple new electric products and recently patented the VXZ electric motorcycle, developed in collaboration with Zero Motorcycles, as well as a self-balancing electric trike called the Nex 2 in India.
