The world’s bestselling motorcycle becomes OBD2B compliant

Besides complying with the stringent OBD2B emission norms, the Splendor Plus remains unaltered. Powering it is the same 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine producing 8hp and 8.05Nm. This mill is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and also does duty in the updated Passion Plus and the HF models.

The Splendor is offered in three variants – Splendor+, Splendor+ Xtec and Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 – each differing in terms of features. The base Splendor+ stays true to its budget-friendly roots and comes with minimal equipment. In contrast, the top-end Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 adds modern touches like an LED headlight and Bluetooth-enabled digi-analogue instrument cluster. Notably, all variants come equipped with tubeless tyres as standard.

Prices for all the variants have increased by Rs 1,750. The Splendor Plus range starts from Rs 78,926 and goes up to Rs 85,501 for the Plus Xtec 2.0 variant.
