Hero Electric has announced a new limited-period festive offer. This offer consists of a cash discount of Rs 3,000 across the company’s lithium-ion range of electric scooters, except for the Dash. The company has also said that the offer is available across all Hero dealerships in India.

The electric two-wheeler range consists of the Dash, Flash, Nyx, Optima, and Photon LP. Prices for these scooters start at around Rs 46,000 and go up to Rs 87,000, which means a Rs 3,000 discount is quite significant, at least on the lower-cost models.

Hero Electric has around 615 touch points across the nation and intends to take that number to 1,000 by the end of 2020. The company has also revealed that they have plans to ramp up production to five lakh units per annum in the next three years.

The company’s latest offering, the Dash, is priced at Rs 62,000 and comes equipped with a 28Ah lithium-ion battery that takes a claimed four hours for a full charge. At full capacity, the e-scooter will provide a claimed range of 60km. Standard features on the Dash include LED DRLs and headlight, a digital instrument cluster, USB charging port and tubeless tyres.
