Battle of the Kings is a custom bike build competition of global renown; and a platform that has witnessed the creation of some unique Harley-Davidson custom bikes. Despite its popularity, the competition has never been held in India – until this year. The American brand finally announced the Indian edition of the Battle of Kings, with participants that included the staff from 10 Harley-Davidson dealerships across India.

All the participants were limited to a budget of Rs 5 lakh for their customisations. They were also restricted to picking either the Harley-Davidson Street 750 or the Street Rod as a donor bike for the build. All ten bikes are subject to a public voting process, which began on July 23, 2018.

Other than the Indian participants, the 250 Harley dealerships from across the world are competing against each other. The winning custom bike from each country will be displayed at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show being held in Rho Fiera, Milan during November 8-11. It is here that a final winner of this competition will be selected. Last year’s winner was a 1,200cc Roadster-based custom build called Bombtrack, created by Italy's Harley-Davidson Perugia.

Here is the entire list of Indian dealerships participating. If you have a favourite, visit the official Battle of the Kings website and cast your vote.
