Ducati slashes prices for CBU offerings

Italian motorcycle maker, Ducati has announced revised prices for its CBU models. Only four bikes of the company’s line-up are imported directly from its factory in Italy – and thus, benefit from the 25 percent drop in custom duties that was announced, recently. These bikes are the Ducati Monster 1200, Monster 1200 S (Red), Monster 1200 S (Charcoal Grey) and the Panigale R Final Edition.

Ducati is the only brand that hasn’t been completely affected by the recent revision in CKD and CBU prices. The Italian two-wheeler giant almost entirely imports its offerings from Thailand. Since India and Thailand have a Free Trade Agreement, import duties are significantly lesser, despite the bikes being brought in via the CBU route. However, the bikes that do come in directly from Italy now get price cuts as given below.
