Ducati has revealed the Desmo450 MX Factory one year after the debut of the Desmo450 MX. The Factory version is designed for riders looking for a race-ready bike, equipped with everything needed to compete.

  1. The bike has a kerb weight of 104kg
  2. Gets Akrapovic exhaust and billet triple clamps
  3. Currently available in select international markets

At the heart of the bike is a 450cc, single-cylinder engine with Desmodromic valve timing, producing 63.5hp at 9,400rpm and 53.5Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. This motor is said to deliver a broad, sustained torque curve with 70 percent of maximum torque available from just 4,200rpm. A high 11,900rpm rev limit and a factory-fitted Akrapovic titanium exhaust enhance throttle response, and mid-range acceleration while cutting weight by 1.7kg.

The aluminum perimeter frame weighs just 8.95kg, contributing to a total bike weight of 104kg (ready to ride, without fuel). Fully adjustable Showa suspension features Dark Kashima coating and titanium oxide-treated internals for improved smoothness, durability, and track feel. Weight savings continue with billet triple clamps, while Brembo brakes with Galfer discs handle stopping duties.

In terms of electronics, the Desmo450 MX Factory comes standard with Ducati Traction Control, Launch Control, Engine Brake Control, Quickshifter, and two customisable Riding Modes. Thanks to a built-in WiFi module, riders can fine-tune all parameters via the X-Link app.

Designed for racing durability, maintenance intervals are competitive, with piston replacement at 45 hours and a full engine overhaul at 90 hours. Ducati Performance accessories allow customers to closely replicate the MXGP race bike, complemented by a dedicated technical apparel collection developed with Drudi Performance.

Finished in the Ducati Corse MXGP livery, the Desmo450 MX Factory is available internationally at selected European dealers, with North American availability scheduled next, followed by other global markets.
