BMW Motorrad India has a vast premium motorcycle portfolio in the country, most of which are larger-capacity offerings that now come with heavier taxation. Of its entire range, only two models, the G 310 R and C 400 GT, have seen price reductions, while the rest face increases ranging from Rs 95,000 to as much as Rs 3.13 lakh.

  1. G 310 R and C 400 GT only models to see price drops
  2. S 1000 RR sees price increase of up to Rs 1.79 lakh
  3. F 900 GS gets the smallest hike of Rs 95,000

BMW Motorrad price list after GST

Biggest price increase is on the BMW M 1000 XR Competition

BMW Motorrad India’s comprehensive portfolio above 350cc starts with the twin-cylinder F 900 range. The F 900 XR currently listed on the site is an outgoing model – since the bike has been updated internationally but has not made its way here yet – which may explain why its revised pricing has not been revealed.

The F 900 GS, on the other hand, is an all-new bike introduced in our market late last year. It has received the smallest price hike of Rs 95,000, now costing Rs 14.85 lakh. Its more hardcore sibling, the F 900 GS Adventure, now costs Rs 1.04 lakh more, at Rs 16.14 lakh.

The updated BMW S 1000 R was launched in India earlier this month at Rs 19.90 lakh, and its price has increased by Rs 1.37 lakh to Rs 21.27 lakh.

The biggest listed price increase is on the BMW M 1000 XR Competition, which costs a substantial Rs 3.13 lakh more (more than the price of a G 310 R), with a new price tag of Rs 48.63 lakh. Pricing for other 'M' models like the M 1000 R and M 1000 RR has not been updated on the website. Meanwhile, the S 1000 XR, which was temporarily not listed on the website when pre-GST prices were compiled, is now listed again at Rs 24.53 lakh.
