Ather now has 500 service centres across India

Ather has announced the expansion of its authorised service network to 500 centres across India, marking a significant scale-up in its after-sales footprint as the company continues to grow its retail presence.

1. Ather currently holds 18 percent of the EV market share in India
2. In FY2026, Ather nearly doubled its service footprint from 277 to 500 centres
3. The brand says it has prioritised establishing service centres in every city it operates

Ather service centre expansion

82 centres out of the 500 offer ExpressCare enabling 60-minute turnaround time for routine servicing.

Ather says it has prioritised establishing service support in every city where it operates. The move comes as Ather expands into newer markets and increases volumes across segments.

Alongside network expansion, the company says it is also investing in enhancing service quality and customer experience. Ather claims its ‘Gold Service Centres’ feature customer lounges, advanced service equipment and streamlined processes aimed at improving transparency and efficiency. Ather also operates with an ExpressCare initiative – a 60-minute periodic maintenance programme – that is currently available at 82 centres, enabling 60-minute turnaround times for routine servicing.

In FY2026 alone, the brand nearly doubled its service footprint from 277 to 500 centres. The expansion aligns with rising demand for Ather’s product portfolio, including the 450 sporty scooter range and the Rizta family scooter, which have helped the brand tap into newer customer segments. Recently, the Bengaluru-based startup has seen steady growth and currently holds 18 percent market share, garnering it third spot of the EV sales pie, sitting just below legacy players like TVS and Bajaj.

The company added that its service presence now spans Tier-1, Tier-2 and emerging cities, supporting its plan to scale up to 700 Experience Centres by FY2026. This comes as a great step for customers looking to purchase an Ather but are holding back due to lack of touchpoints in their locality. Ather also continues to invest in charging infrastructure through its Ather Grid network, which comprises over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally.
